How it works:
Lava is a natural stone that is most popularly known for it's grounding and calming abilities, however, because it is also extremely porous we've found it to be a perfect way to naturally diffuse essential oils for a slow gradual release.
Aromatic molecules in essential oils interact with sensors in your nasal cavity, pores, lungs and more. Once engaged, these sensors release signals to your limbic system - the emotional switchboard of your brain. Inhaling essential oils is an easy and quick way to reap the potential benefits essential oils can offer for your physiological and psychological needs.

APPLICATION:
With your personal Olani oil dropper (included with each order), rub your favorite essential oil directly onto the lava stone. (To protect the other components of your necklace, we recommend you avoid applying oils to the chain or the gold plated pendant.)
Allow the essential oils to soak into the stone for several minutes before wearing. The longer you allow the oils to absorb, the longer your scent may last. Stones may appear wet for a short time after application.
Please Note: We use natural lava stones which do not absorb oils instantly like felt or fabric, but with just a little bit of patience you will get the luxury of using this part of nature in a unique way.
